A popular sandwich shop in Boston will temporarily close after four years in the city.
BOSTON, MA — A popular sandwich shop in Boston will temporarily close after four years in business.
Fresh Boston announced it would close its South Boston restaurant at 232 Old Colony Ave., citing that challenges facing the small business had become too difficult to overcome. The business did not announce a final day of service or provide a timeline for reopening, but said its Cambridge location will remain open.
“This isn’t the ending we hoped for,” the restaurant said. “We poured everything we had into this restaurant, and while this chapter is coming to an end, we are incredibly proud of what we built together.”
