Best Places To Live In MA In 2019: Niche

The usual suspects were at the top, but Niche gave love to a lot of places we call home this year.

Whatever makes a place one of the best to live is up to the person living there. But Massachusetts sure has a lot of places to choose from. Niche this week released 2019's best places to live in America, and Massachusetts cities, towns and neighborhoods were all over the list.

The “Best Places to Live” rankings in Massachusetts are led by the usual suspects: Brookline, Cambridge, Newton, Lexington and Belmont make up the top five.

The top 61 entires on the list received an A+ rating from niche as a place to live. The others on the still received A ratings.

Niche says its goal is to “provide accurate, comparable and thorough evaluations of places.” Using data from government and private sources, Niche grades the places evaluated for the rankings on factors like public schools, crime and safety and housing.
