Boston Celtics NBA Draft 2016 Results
Many fans thought the Celtics had an underwhelming night.
The Celtics have selected Jaylen Brown with the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Brown, a small forward from Marietta, Ga., is 6 feet 6 inches and 225 pounds. He scored 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.o assists in his lone year at California.
"This guy is our guy, and he's our guy for the future," Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck reportedly told fans at the TD Garden draft party.

Boston raised some eyebrows with the selection of international players Guerschon Yabusele and Ante Zizic later in the first round.
The Celtics then traded two second-round picks to Memphis for the Clippers' 2019 first-round pick, selected Demetrius of Notre Dame 45th overall, Ben Bentil from Providence 51st, and Abdel Nader from Iowa State 58th.
