Boston DPW Employee Shot In Mattapan
A city worker was shot on his way to work Thursday morning.

MATTAPAN, MA – A Boston Department of Public Works employee was shot in Mattapan Thursday morning, according to reports. The worker, who the Boston Globe identified as a man in his 50s, was shot in the leg on his way to work.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Morton and Fuller Streets. A DPW vehicle reportedly was left with bullet holes in it.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, reports say.
