Boston Man Charged With Taking 'Upskirt' Photo Of 11-Year-Old Girl
The man took a photo up the girl's skirt while he rubbed his hand against her leg, according to officials.

BOSTON, MA — A Dorchester man was arraigned Monday for taking an "upskirt" photo of an 11-year-old while she was walking to a bus stop last month, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden announced.
Officials said that during the June 6 incident on Wainwright Street, 28-year-old Agustin Jaramillo first handed the girl a cord, asked her to help him tie a knot, then bent down and told her he was going to pull up her sock. He then took a photo up her skirt while he rubbed his hand against her leg, according to officials.
Later that day, authorities received a call from the Conservatory Lab Charter School in Dorchester, where officers met with the girl and heard her story.

The girl gave a physical description of Jaramillo, still unidentified at the time, and investigators found security footage of a man matching his description interacting with the girl.
Police distributed still photos of the suspect, and received a tip from a community member on June 27 identifying the man as Jaramillo.

Jaramillo has been charged with one count of indecent assault and battery on a person under 14 and held on $500 bail.
He is due back in court on Sept. 24 for a pre-trial hearing.
"This young girl deserves great credit for relaying to school officials what happened to her that morning," Hayden said. "That information, along with valuable assistance from a community member, helped police make an identification and arrest. This is yet another example of the community working with law enforcement to increase safety for all."
