BOSTON, MA — A man is facing multiple firearm charges after Boston Police recovered a loaded revolver during a vehicle stop early Friday morning.
Kareem Seales, 24, of Hyde Park, was arrested at approximately 1:16 a.m. near the intersection of Delhi Street and Wooddale Avenue after officers observed a rental vehicle idling with two occupants inside and a large amount of smoke coming through the windows.
As officers approached the vehicle, they reportedly observed both occupants smoking marijuana and noticed a questionable inspection sticker. Officers informed the driver that smoking marijuana while operating a vehicle was prohibited and requested identification from both occupants.

Following further investigation, officers asked both individuals to exit the vehicle. Seales, who was seated in the passenger seat, reportedly resisted by leaning farther back into the vehicle as officers attempted to remove him.
Officers assisted Seales out of the vehicle and conducted a pat-down frisk, during which they felt a hard metal object near his waistline. A firearm was recovered from the front pocket of his hoodie, and Seales was placed into handcuffs. A subsequent inquiry determined that he did not have a license to carry a firearm.
