Boston Man Who Allegedly Stole Car With Dog Inside Arrested
The East Boston man was arraigned Tuesday in court for allegedly stealing a car that had a beloved Yellow Lab Pup inside.

BOSTON, MA — Police arrested the man who stole a Boston woman's car that happened to have her Yellow Lab, Chief in it as well, shortly after they found the car and the dog at an Everett Cemetery.
David Brady, 50, of East Boston was arraigned Tuesday, a day after he was arrested for allegedly stealing the car with the dog in it over the weekend, prompting a massive social media out pouring thanks in large part to the woman's doggie day car center Harbor Hounds who sounded the alarm. >> Boston Car Stolen With Dog Inside: Found Safe In Everett Cemetery
At about 9:51 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, officers assigned to East Boston responded to a call for a stolen motor vehicle in the area of 16 Trident Street.

When they got there officers spoke with the victim who stated that her Hyundai Santa Fe had just been stolen by an unknown man and that her dog, a friendly yellow Labrador named "Chief," was still inside the car.
On Monday, members of the Everett Police Department found the stolen vehicle along with the unharmed dog and the owner and the pub had an emotional reunion, Patch reported.

At about 5:53 p.m. on Monday Boston Police officers found and arrested David Brady, 50, of East Boston, who was wanted in connection to this incident after a foot pursuit which originated at the Bremen Street Community Park in East Boston and concluded in the area Brooks Street and Paris Street.
Brady was placed in custody with the help of members of the MBTA police, and was arraigned in East Boston District Court on numerous charges including Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Resisting Arrest.
Someone entered a Not Gulity plea on his behalf, the Boston Globe reported.
Brady admitted to taking the car but “because of his alcohol intake he did not remember where he left the car and the dog," according to a Boston police report filed in court, the Globe reported.
The police report also indicated Brady said he fed and walked Chief a number of times while he had the dog.
