“If they refuse, they refuse," a spokesperson for the mayor's office told Boston25. The outlet reported that at elast 30 tents were still set up on Atkinson Street outside the Engagement Center on Sunday night.

“The City is resuming its tent removal protocol after choosing not to remove tents during the winter months out of concern for the wellbeing of unsheltered individuals," read in part a statement from Mayor Wu's office that was shared with Boston25. "Individuals in the area are being asked to voluntarily remove their tents and are being encouraged to take advantage of the free shelter, substance use treatment, relocation, and storage options available to them."
