Boston's Outdoor Pools, Beach: Summer Hours, What To Know

BOSTON, MA — When you think of summer, you might think of sunscreen, and trips to the pool or beach. But don't forget about the pools and the spray parks - from JP's in Johnson Park near the Green Street T to the Ringgold spray park in the South End.

The city runs 49 pools and spray parks with which to cool off during the hot days of summer and if you can't get to the beach, they're a mighty fine option.

City of Boston runs two outdoor pools, the Clougherty Pool in Charlestown and the BCYF Mirabella Pool in the North End, which both opened for the season on Saturday, June 16.
