Boy, 4, Killed In Boston Hit-And-Run, Police Seek Information On Car

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Police Department has released a photo in the investigation of a Tuesday car crash that resulted in the death of a 4-year-old boy in Hyde Park.

Police said in a news release Wednesday that they are seeking information on a photo of a dark grey subcompact hatchback that officials said was last seen driving on Wood Avenue heading toward Cummins Highway.

Officers first responded to the crash in the 100 block of Wood Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a 4-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car, police said.

The boy was taken to the hospital, where he died, according to police.
