Love Farms Celebrates Apple Week with Harvest Dinner, Seasonal Specials & Saturday Farmers Market

Love Farms is welcoming the arrival of fall with a full week of apple-inspired happenings on Cape Cod, creating a weekend of seasonal food, local shopping and farm-fresh experiences. Beginning Thursday, September 24, guests can enjoy an Apple Harvest Dinner, followed by apple-themed specials throughout the weekend and a Saturday farmers market on the farm.

Apple Harvest Dinner: Thursday, September 24 On Thursday, September 24, Love Farms will host an Apple Harvest Dinner, a multi-course experience celebrating the versatility of apples through savory and sweet preparations. The dinner will begin with assorted breads and spreads, pickles and crudité before moving into four courses.

The evening will open with Poached Apple and Cheese, featuring poached and pickled apples, La Tur cheese and endive, followed by Cider Braised Mussels with shallots, herbs and bread. The third course pairs Apple Stuffed Quail with apple, brioche, apple cider glaze, white pudding and collard greens alongside Calvados Porchetta with a Calvados caramel glaze, spätzle and broccoli rabe. Dessert will feature Apple Strudel with currants and crème anglaise.

Optional wine pairings will be available throughout the dinner, including a 2024 Goisot Aligoté, 2024 Sophie Schaal Dry Riesling, 2024 Oggero Vino Rosso “Sandro d’Pindeta” and 2022 Huet Vouvray “Le Mont” Moelleux.Tickets for the Harvest Dinner can be purchased here. 

Apple Week Specials: Through Sunday, September 27 Following Thursday's dinner, Love Farms will continue the celebration with apple-inspired specials available throughout the weekend, showcasing the flavors of the season across the menu. The limited-time offerings will give guests additional opportunities to enjoy the farm's fall harvest and experience apples in both sweet and savory preparations.

Saturday Farmers Market: Saturday, September 26 10 a.m.–1 p.m.On Saturday, September 26, Love Farms will host its Apple Week Farmers Market, inviting guests to stop by the farm from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a seasonal market experience. The event will offer an opportunity to shop local and enjoy the farm during one of the most beautiful times of the year on Cape Cod.
