Across generations, women are (disproportionately) navigating increasing demands of caregiving: raising children, supporting aging parents, sustaining families, and contributing meaningfully at work. Yet the modern workplace has not kept pace. The result? A growing care gap - an invisible but powerful force shaping burnout, retention, leadership dynamics, and inequity in today’s society.
This one-day summit brings together women leaders across generations to explore:
<ul><li>How caregiving realities and mindsets are shifting across generations</li><li>Where misunderstanding and tension show up</li><li>How leadership and systems must evolve</li><li>What practical, realistic actions leaders can take right now</li></ul>
Through guided experiences, facilitated dialogue, and cross-generational exchange, participants will move beyond surface-level conversation into shared understanding, strategic insight, and concrete action. This summit is a transformational leadership experience designed to change how you lead.

Kickstand Cafe

The Ride was created in 2019 by IINE Board Member Will Krause and a small group of friends, who wanted to have some fun while raising money for the thousands of refugees and immigrants the International Institute of New England supports every year.  
The Ride begins and ends in Arlington, MA, and riders select from two routes.&nbsp; 
<ul><li>50 Mile Rider -- Start route at 7 a.m. from The Kickstand Cafe in Arlington, MA, and finish at the Kickstand Cafe. </li></ul>
<ul><li>12 Mile Rider -- Start route at Depot Park in Bedford, MA, at roughly 11:30 a.m. and finish at the Kickstand Cafe in Arlington, MA. </li></ul>
This annual event brings together IINE staff, volunteers, and community members, who hop on their bikes in support of our refugee and immigrant neighbors!

Pepsi Eats Fest Boston is taking over Tia's on the Waterfront on Sunday, October 4, bringing foodies and football fans a free afternoon on Boston Harbor, transforming Tia’s into the ultimate gameday destination for one day only. While watching the 1pm game on the patio, guests can enjoy FREE event-exclusive sliders for the first 100 attendees (an early taste of Tia's new upcoming menu!), complimentary bites throughout the game including homemade clam chowder, lobster salad in puff pastry and mini mac &amp; cheese balls, plus Pepsi-infused cocktails and more. Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum presents the Ivalas Quartet in their Weekend Concert Series. Franz Schubert's monumental “Death and the Maiden” quartet anchors the Ivalas Quartet's program, paired with two American works: an early piece in George Walker's "American" style (Walker died only a few years ago at age 96) and An Elegy: A Cry from the Grave, a moving miniature by Carlos Simon, whose Requiem for the Enslaved had its Boston premiere at the Gardner Museum in 2022. Hailed by The Strad for playing with “tremendous heart and beauty,” the Ivalas Quartet has been changing the face of classical music since its inception in 2017 with a mission to enrich the classical music world by spotlighting past and present BIPOC composers alongside the standard repertory.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Fall 2026 Weekend Concert Series features a ten-concert autumn season curated by Abrams Curator of Music George Steel held on select Sundays from September 13 through November 22, 2026. The fall season showcases world-class artists in the Museum’s extraordinary Calderwood Hall—a 300-seat “sonic cube” with three levels of balconies designed so that 80% of seats are front row, creating a uniquely intense and intentional listening experience. Dating to 1927, the Gardner’s Weekend Concert Series is the longest running museum music program in the country.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an extraordinary evening of music at one of Boston’s most historic landmarks.
On October 4, 2026, internationally acclaimed violinist Siqing Lu joins pianist Derek Wang at Faneuil Hall for East Meets West: From Mozart and Beethoven to The Butterfly Lovers, a special recital bringing together masterpieces of Western classical music and one of China’s most beloved musical works.
The program begins with Mozart’s elegant Violin Sonata No. 10 in B-flat Major, K. 378, followed by Beethoven’s dramatic Violin Sonata No. 7 in C Minor, Op. 30, No. 2. The second half features a complete performance of The Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto, the celebrated Chinese work inspired by the legendary story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai.
Siqing Lu is the first Asian violinist to win First Prize at Italy’s prestigious Paganini International Violin Competition. He has performed in more than 40 countries and at renowned venues including Lincoln Center, Vienna’s Musikverein, London’s Royal Opera House, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
Presented at Faneuil Hall—Boston’s historic “Cradle of Liberty”—the concert marks America’s 250th anniversary through a musical dialogue across cultures, generations, and traditions.
