Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Pink-Wrapped Bikes

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross), the title sponsor of Bluebikes, is bringing 100 pink-wrapped Bluebikes back into Greater Boston’s bike share system this October.

For the second consecutive year, Blue Cross will donate $1 to Ellie Fund for every ride taken on a pink-wrapped classic or ebike, up to $10,000 throughout the month-long initiative. Once that threshold is met, Lyft, the operator of Bluebikes, will match the donation with an additional $1 per ride, contributing up to an additional $10,000.

No code, sign-up or additional action is required, riders just need to take a ride on one of the limited-edition bikes for their ride to count toward the donation.
