1 Dead In Boston After Car Falls From Ramp, Hits Road Below

The car fell 40 feet before hitting the road and train tracks below, killing the driver.

BOSTON, MA — One person is dead after a car drove off a ramp in Boston Wednesday morning and fell 40 feet onto the road and train tracks below, smashing into bits and catching on fire, according to the Boston Fire Department and multiple reports.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Frontage Road and the Massachusetts Avenue Connector after the car burst through the barrier of Route 93 North To Route 90 West on-ramp, according to WCVB and Boston25 News.

The car was heavily damaged and "many ramps in the area are closed due to the ongoing investigation," state police told WCVB.
