Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley's Boston Swear In: How To Watch
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley holds a 'community swearing-in' ceremony at Roxbury Community College Saturday.

BOSTON — Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley will hold a “community swearing-in” ceremony at Roxbury Community College Saturday afternoon.
"I was so excited to have my husband, Conan, and my stepdaughter, Cora, by my side in Washington, but we also want to make sure we have the chance to celebrate with our chosen family. With all of the people who helped make my election possible," she posted to Facebook.
Pressley was the first black woman elected to the Boston City Council, and the first black woman elected to Congress from Massachusetts.

She ran and bested incumbent Mike Capuano in the primary election and run unopposed in the November 2018 general election. Pressley was sworn in on Jan. 3, to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from Massachusetts's 7th congressional district, representing much of Boston, Cambridge and Chelsea, Everett and Milton.
Her community swear in is slated to start at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and go until 3:40 p.m.
