Current Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Youth Pass Cards Will Expire On October 31

All card holders must provide proof of eligibility and complete the following steps to re-enrollment.

Deactivation Date:

MBTA Youth Pass Card will deactivate on October 31, 2020.

Recertification:

All card holders must provide proof of eligibility and complete the following steps to re-enrollment.

Remaining Card Value:

Due to COVID-19, the Charlie Card store remains closed. Individual fare value can only be returned at the Charlie Card Store. Until the Charlie Card store reopens, your money stored for your 2020 Youth Pass Card will remain inaccessible.

Commuter Rail

From July 1 to December 31, 2020, Youth Pass cardholders can purchase half-price tickets for all Commuter Rail zones on board, at ticket windows, and via the mTicket app.
