Dorchester Teens Used Sawed-Off Shotgun In Robbery: Police
Three teenage boys were arrested over the weekend and charged with armed robbery in Mattapan.

MATTAPAN, MA – Three teenage boys from Dorchester were arrested over the weekend and charged in an armed robbery in Mattapan, police said. The trio allegedly brandished a sawed-off shotgun and robbed the victim of his money, according to police.
The victim told officers he had arranged on Facebook to meet one of the boys on Chipman Street to buy an iPhone but was robbed instead. Police arrested the teens, 13, 14 and 16 years old, at a Norfolk Street residence.
Officers allegedly found the sawed-off shotgun during a search of the home Sunday. The teens were charged with delinquent to wit and armed robbery by means of a sawed-off shotgun. They also face additional firearm-related charges, police said.
