Driverless Lyft Cars Touching Down In Seaport
The future is now in Boston. But would you trust it?

The future is now in Boston. It's up to you if you want to jump aboard.
Ride-share service Lyft announced Wednesday it will launch a self-driving pilot program in the Seaport, where some passengers will be able to take an autonomous car. The cars are developed by Boston-based nuTonomy.
"First, we want to let members of the public experience driverless vehicles firsthand, so they can better understand the impact this new technology will have on their lives," nuTonomy said. "Second, based on feedback from pilot participants, nuTonomy’s engineers will adapt and improve our system, so that we can deliver an autonomous transportation experience that is extremely safe, efficient, and comfortable."
