Fish Market Owner Not Happy With 20-Pound Lobster Photo

The owner of Atlantic Seafood Market in Connecticut took the TSA to task over their handling of the crustacean.

BOSTON, MA – The woman who sold a 20-pound lobster that was photographed at Logan Airport this week is not happy about the way she felt the TSA handled the animal. On the Atlantic Seafood Market Facebook page, Lisa Feinman ripped the TSA for digging into her customer's personal property.

Feinman, who owns the Old Saybrook, CT-based market, said she packed the cooler with "care and concern" for the lobsters and her customer's property.

"In addition to this lobster, my customer also purchased several other lobsters all of which were purposefully packed on top of this guy," she wrote. "This agent, (after seeing the contents on an x ray machine, no doubt) had to dump out 12 other lobsters to get to this guy."

The photo of a TSA worker posing with a mammoth-sized crustacean became an internet hit earlier in the week after it was posted to social media by TSA spokesman Michael McCarthy. Read Feinman's full response below:

In a statement Wednesday, TSA spokesman Michael McCarthy said, "TSA will reach out to the individual directly to discuss their concerns. During the busy summer travel season TSA officers will screen more than 2.3 million passengers per day. We share images through social media to provide helpful travel tips and to better inform the traveling public about TSA's mission."
