Flash Flood Alert, Power Outages Hit Boston
The National weather service just alerted folks in the Boston area.

BOSTON, MA — If you haven't looked at your cell phone alerts recently, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning in effect until 7 p.m.
Why did you get that alert on your phone, you ask? The alerts are part of the Emergency Alert system. The modern version of hearing the alarms on the TV. It's just like that, except on your phone.
Devon Street at Columbia Road reported a flash flood around 2:53 p.m. According to MEMA there are more than 400 customers in Boston without power.
