A Gravy Thanksgiving For Boston With Sun, Warm Temperatures

BOSTON, MA — The local Thanksgiving forecast is all gravy.

Most of eastern Massachusetts will see warmer temperatures in the 50s over the next few days, although the Thanksgiving holiday will be cooler with sun and temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.

"A return to near to slightly above normal temperatures is in store for much of the week. Thanksgiving day looks to be the coolest of the next 5, but several locations will warm into the 50s by then end of the week as we eye the next chance for rain!" the National Weather Service said in a tweet.

Rain clouds may darken Black Friday and Sunday, but Saturday looks to be a excellent, sunny day to get outside and work off Thanksgiving calories, according to the forecast.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.

Friday: Rain likely, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday Night: A chance of rain, mainly before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Saturday Night: A chance of rain after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
