George Floyd has forever changed our country, our cities, and our communities. George Floyd’s life mattered, and he should still be alive today.  The guilty verdict in Derek Chauvin’s trial begins a healing process for all of us, especially the Black community and George Floyd’s family. Our hope is that generations from now, our country – and the world – will recognize this moment as a turning point in the march toward equality.
