Remains Found In Revere Marsh, Investigation Underway: DA

The medical examiner is working to determine if 'the discovery of apparent human remains' found in Revere marsh are actually human.

BOSTON, MA — Early Friday morning hunters found what appear to be human bones in Rumney Marsh in Revere. Now State Troopers and Revere police are investigating the gruesome discovery behind a North View Terrace home, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

The bones were taken to the offfice of the Chief Medical Examiner, who will attempt to figure out if they are, in fact, human. If they are, the Chief Medical Examiner's office will work to determine the cause of the person's death and investigators will start the process to identify just who it was.
