Boston, MA – Hundreds gathered in Boston Wednesday evening to protest police brutality in response to the deaths of black men and women in police-involved incidents.

According to CBS Boston, police were stationed on the rooftop of the building as a precaution following last week's shootings in Dallas during a demonstration.

In a Facebook post announcing the protest, Mass Action Against Police Brutality condemned the killings in Dallas and emphasized that there was no connection between their group and the gunman.
"Law enforcement, media outlets, and elected officials are sniffing for a link between these deaths and the women and men organizing actions across the country to condemn police brutality for the killing of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile," they wrote. "Our movement had nothing to do with the shooting of these officers."
