Jason C. Dyer, Freedom Fuel Named Veteran Owned Business of the Year
Raynham-based fuel delivery service provides affordable full service, home heating oil and diesel fuel in the Southeastern Mass region

BOSTON – The Small Business Administration (SBA) has named Jason C. Dyer, Owner of Freedom Fuel LLC the 2024 Veteran Small Business Owner of the Year for Massachusetts.
Freedom Fuel LLC delivers oil products (HHO/Diesel Fuels) to Southeastern Massachusetts and provides technical service of equipment related to heating and cooling systems (boilers, furnaces, oil tanks).

“An SBA microloan gave Jason Dyer the boost he needed to build Freedom Fuel LLC from the ground up,” said District Director Robert Nelson. “It’s a reminder that skies are the limit for Veteran Entrepreneurs when they deploy the work ethic, ingenuity and experience gained from military service.”
In 2020, Dyer was approved for a microloan from South Eastern Economic Development Corporation and also received an SBA 7(a) Express Line of Credit. This allowed Dyer to start the business with one delivery truck and one customer, growing the customer base to over 10,000 deliveries in three years.

"Joan and I are so thankful to the Small Business Administration for continued support of our business, and we feel tremendously honored to have been selected to represent veterans in 2024," said Owner Jason C. Dyer.
Dyer has dedicated his life to giving back to his family, community and his country. Freedom Fuel has partnered with Citizens for Citizens and Self-Help programs to provide financial assistance to those in need. In addition, Mr. Dyer is a member of Christ Community Church and member of the New England Fuel Institute.
Dyer will be honored at the annual National Small Business Week Massachusetts Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at the Doubletree Andover.
