The victim of a deadly Boston kidnapping was laid to rest Saturday. 23-year-old Jassy Correia was found dead days after being kidnapped from a Boston-area nightclub in February.

A funeral mass was held for Correia at St. Peter Church in Dorchester on Saturday morning. Following the service, she was laid to rest in New Calvary Cemetery on Harvard Street in Boston.

Correia was last seen outside the Venu Nightclub in Boston on February 24, getting into a car with a man later identified as Louis Coleman, III of Providence. Coleman was arrested five days later in Delaware, where investigators discovered Correia's body in the trunk of his car.

Coleman is facing both federal and state charges in Correia's kidnapping and death. In Rhode Island, he has been charged with kidnapping, failure to report a death and mutilation of a dead body. Coleman also faces one federal count of kidnapping, death resulting, which could result in the death penalty if he is convicted. Police say more charges could come as the investigation continues.

A vigil was held for Correia on Thursday at the same church where her funeral mass was held. Family, friends and members of the community gathered to remember the young mother, who left behind a two-year-old daughter.
