John Duff Returns Live at the Art House in Provincetown
Performing Two More Shows and Premiering New Music Single

John Duff returns to the Art House in Provincetown for two more nights of his Just John show on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17. The show is an eclectic blend of live singing, piano performances, unreleased videos, and a collection of his most memorable hits and misses.
Among the singles being performed will be John's second from his soon-to-be-released Greatest Hits: Deluxe Edition album, “Forgotten How to F...”. Releasing today, along with a brand new music video, the song is an ode to the one in four people who are sexually abstinent. Duff wrote the original version in 2020 when he was undergoing surgeries for some intimate health problems. He admits that sex was the last thing on his mind - and the pandemic only extended his physical solitude. He posted a clip of the song to his Instagram. It caught the attention of producers Eren Cannata and Koil PreAmple who reached out and asked if they could finish it. They helped to turn "Forgotten How to F..." into the New Orleans-inspired, late-1950’s rock-and-roll number it is today.
For the music video of the song, Duff drew inspiration from Elvis Presley's ‘68 Comeback Special. John appears as the King of Rock and Roll and is also featured dancing in silhouette in stacks of LED panel boxes. “We thought Elvis' ‘68 Comeback Special was a perfect reference for this song. After all, Elvis was deployed for two years. He was probably a little rusty in the sack.”

Eren Cannata provides guitar and bass on the single; drums are by Daniel Crean; horns are by Aaron Janick; and Miles Dalto is on keys.
John Duff grew up in a suburb outside of Baltimore, Maryland, the youngest of two sisters and a brother. He studied musical theater at Syracuse University and after graduating, made his way to New York City where he worked professionally as an actor - performing regionally, Off-Broadway, and commercially for six years. He directed a short-lived off-Broadway musical KatDashian’s - a hybrid of Cats and The Kardashian’s. The musical closed early after Andrew Lloyd Webber took legal action.
