Jumper on Tobin Bridge Recovered

A man leapt from the Tobin Bridge into the water, where officials recovered him. All lanes are now open.

A man who jumped from the lower deck of the Tobin Bridge was rescued from the water, according to police.

State Police say the 19-year-old who jumped at approximately 7:30 p.m. is alive. A Marine Unit rescued the man, who was transported to Mass. General.

Traffic was at a virtual standstill, but all lanes have been reopened. Delays can be still be expected.
