The monthly average temperature for Boston is 68 degrees. This June was 74.4 degrees, breaking the previous record of 73.4 degrees set in 1976.

June was also unseasonably dry, recording more than an inch less precipitation than average. In a normal year, Boston sees about 3.89 inches of rain. Just 2.57 inches were recorded

this year.
