MA Chef To Compete On Popular Food Network Show

A Boston-area chef will "brawl" with other contestants when the show premiers Monday night.

BOSTON, MA — A Boston grillmaster will appear on the Food Network's hit show "BBQ Brawl."

In the new season of the show, BBQ experts will compete at Star Hill Ranch in Austin. The show features captains Bobby Flay, Brooke Williamson and Mauneet Chauhan.

The trio will "mentor, compete with and coach a new group of talented pitmasters from across the country and abroad, all battling for the ultimate title of Master of ’Cue," according to the station.

Morgan Bolling is executive food editor and resident grillmaster at America’s Test Kitchen in Boston as well as a recipe developer, cookbook author and TV host, according to the Food Network.

She is known for developing more than 100 recipes and hosting "Grill Next Door."

"I think my biggest strength is just the diversity of knowledge I have," she told the Food Network. "I mean, I've studied everything from the history of BBQ to the regionality of BBQ to the technique of BBQ. So I feel like there's no one more studied for this competition than me."

The show's seventh season premiers Monday, May 11, at 9 p.m.
