Seasoned Christmas dinner hosts know: Even a perfectly planned holiday meal is prone to oversights and mishaps. Maybe the ham went bad, or maybe your gluten free cousin decided to come at the last minute.

But what stores are open on Christmas Day in Massachusetts? Patch reached out to major grocery chains nationwide, including Walmart, Target and Kroger, to find out where you can go and when.

Below is a list of grocery stores that will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Many have varying hours, so always remember to double check with the store to make sure the doors aren’t locked when you arrive. Patch will update the hours as more trickle in.
