MA School Closings, Delays For Friday, Nov. 16

The first significant snow of the season brought several inches in areas of Central and Eastern Massachusetts. By 8 p.m. Thursday night the white stuff had hit much of the Commonwealth. But a sudden switch to rain along the coast could turn it to nothing more than a dusting, or worse – a wintry mix of sludge and freezing rain.

Bad news for commuters, but good news for students. The forecast means there's a flurry of school delays, especially in Worcester County (where Worcester Public is actually closed today) and parts of Middlesex County.
