MA Snow Totals For Feb. 28: Town By Town

The most recent overnight snow storm was about what everyone expected. Some communities only had a bit more than a dusting, while some got nearly half a foot.

The snow was light and fluffy, the best kind for shoveling it out of the way. Despite sunshine peeking out, it's going to remain cold Thursday, so you may want to do that sooner that later.

Dozens of schools delayed opening by a couple hours this morning, and a few even closed.

The most snow unofficially recorded by the National Weather Service this morning was in Rockport, where 6 inches fell. Nearby Gloucester was next with 5 inches.

Several communities from all across Massachusetts got at least 4 inches of snow, while others saw just 1-2 inches.
