MA Traffic: Roads Beginning To Clear Up, But Still Pose Danger
Relief is finally starting to come, but you should still stay off the roads if possible.

The major backups brought on by the onset of fast-falling snow during the evening commute have begun to relent. There are still delays, some significant, but the worst of it appears to be in the rearview.
While the roads are clearing up some, it doesn't mean they are safe. Multiple local police departments have reported several spinouts and crashes. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it had 2,861 pieces of equipment on the roads as of 4:20 p.m.
Making matters worse Tuesday evening was a disabled vehicle in the HOV lane on I-93 South in Boston. The lane has since been reopened, and will remain so until 8 p.m.
