MA Weather: Timeline, Impact For 2 Strong Storms Next 36 Hours
Forecasters are again warning of a possible tornado along with heavy rain and strong to severe thunderstorms.

Two potentially serious storms are expected to hit Massachusetts over the next 36 hours. Forecasters are warning of the possibility of a "short-lived tornado" Wednesday morning, followed by damaging winds later throughout the day. The whole state is under a hazardous weather outlook.
The first round of storms is expected between 4-10 a.m., the National Weather Service said. Street flooding, localized wind damage, and the tornado risk will be during this time. Bottom line: The morning commute is expected to be a nightmare, even if it's just the heavy rain.
