MA Weather Easter Forecast: Temperatures Turning Around

Don't worry, there's no snow in the forecast. If you step outside today, it's actually not so bad out. And the weather should be getting much better as we march toward Easter.

The favorable forecast has a few hiccups along the way, but as of now Easter Sunday is expected to be 50 degrees and sunny. And despite a couple of rain showers, this Thursday is expected to give us our warmest temperatures since a mini heat wave in February.

Today's chill will fade and Tuesday's temperature will soar into the mid-high 40s. There's the possibility of a bit of moisture Tuesday night, but don't expect the fifth nor'easter of March. Monday's chilly morning also represents the last time temperatures dip into "freezing" territory as far as The Weather Channel's forecast is concerned.

While a minor snow event could disrupt your Good Friday plans, warmer weather is expected for the holiday weekend. Even if temperatures are closer to average, it will feel mild compared to a rough March.

"The exiting storm may still bring some rain and snow to New England for a time on Saturday, but high pressure building in should bring some sunshine to the Northeast for a portion of the weekend," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson said.

There is still the possibility of the storm strengthening that it would leave some chilly winds, making for a cold Eastern morning.
