MA Weather: Florence Soaking Region Monday, Tuesday
Forecasters are warning of as many as 5 inches of rain in some parts of Massachusetts.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Florence will drench Massachusetts early this week. What's left of the storm when it makes its way north will result in up to 5 inches in some parts of the state.
The National Weather Service said Sunday to expect the rain to begin Monday night and end in the eastern part of the state Tuesday night. In between, expect 2-4 inches of rain. In parts of Northern Massachusetts 5 inches of rain is possible.

As of 8 p.m., there was only a hazardous weather outlook in Western Massachusetts. Forecasters are warning of the possibility of flash flooding across the state.
