MA Weather Forecast: Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Timeline
Get your outdoor plans done early today, because some potential downpours and thunderstorms will be rolling through.

If you've got stuff to do outside today, you should get them done early. A much warmer day than yesterday will also feature some heavy rainfall and potentially thunderstorms, ruining the first official weekend of summer.
The entire state is under a hazardous weather outlook for what the National Weather Service says will be "a few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall," although those storms may not get all the way into Eastern Mass.
The rain will start spotting around the state in the late afternoon, with the heavy stuff hitting Worcester earlier in the evening and hitting Boston around 7 p.m. You can see the NWS simulated radar in the tweet below:

The thunderstorms are what to watch for. If any make it to Eastern Mass., they are expected to be isolated and severe.
Meanwhile, it'll be much warmer than Saturday. High temperatures on Sunday are expected to hit the mid-high 70s, a more than double-digit increase between the morning and afternoon.
