MA Weather: Freezing Rain Incoming, Winter Weather Advisory Set
Here's when to expect the return of some unpleasant weather Wednesday evening and its impact for the Thursday morning commute.

That beautiful weather sure was nice while it lasted. A winter weather advisory has been called for nearly all of Massachusetts as a bout of freezing rain readies to pelt the region Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service is warning morning commuters to be careful in what are expected to be hazardous driving conditions. "The biggest concern will be icy roads for the Thursday morning commute," the NWS tweeted late Wednesday afternoon.
The winter weather advisory will be in effect until 10 a.m. for every area in the state except some of Bristol County and the Cape & Islands. Up to two tenths of an inch of ice is expected, with the most coming in areas with higher elevation.

The rain will start sometime in the next couple hours and be widespread shortly after. It should leave the region around sunrise Thursday, but there will be some spotty precipitation later Thursday and Friday morning. Here's a simulated radar of the expected timing:
