MA Weather: Hazardous Outlook For Thunderstorms, Rain

Unsettled weather lies ahead through Friday as showers and scattered thunderstorms begin popping up around Massachusetts as early as Thursday afternoon. The summer temperatures and humidity will remain, with temperatures hitting the mid-to-high 80s over the 36 hours.

A hazardous weather outlook was issued Friday for most of Massachusetts due to the potential of isolated thunderstorms. The National Weather Service said areas north and west of Boston could see rain as early as this afternoon. The precipitation will become more widespread Thursday night, especially after midnight. Expect a wet early morning commute; things will dry up around 8 or 9 a.m. Friday.
