MA Weather: Heavy Rain, Wind Moves In Tuesday Night
A coastal storm is moving across the region Tuesday night, bringing rain and wind to Massachusetts.
A coastal storm is moving across the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing rain and wind to Massachusetts late Tuesday night until late Wednesday morning. A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Rhode Island, most of Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. Rain is expected to start between midnight and 1 a.m., continuing until late Wednesday morning.
Once the rain tapers off around noon, fog is possible throughout the afternoon, with wind gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Wind speeds will increase throughout the evening, getting as high as 40 miles per hour by Wednesday night.

Wednesday
Rain likely, mainly before noon. Areas of fog before 8am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 57. North wind 14 to 18 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Breezy, with a west wind 11 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.
