MA Weather: Rain Could Turn To Sleet, Snow Early Monday

The cold temps and the rain could make for a slower commute Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the western half of the state, and a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the eastern half on Sunday headed into Monday, meaning the morning commute could be problematic for many across the state.

Bring your patience and your galoshes, folks.

On Sunday the forecasters predicted rain with a mix of sleet until midnight and then turning to rain after 1 a.m. Although the low was predicted to be at 36, it could still make for slick roads overnight and in the morning.
