MA Weather: Rain, Wind Dampening 60-Degree Friday
The road to 60 degrees will be a wet, breezy one, forecasters are saying.

For the first time in a long time, it could be 60 degrees tomorrow. Forecasters said Friday's temperature spike - which could break into the lows 60s - could be accompanied by scattered showers, locally heavy rainfall, a few rumbles of thunder and gusty winds.
The rain will pitter-patter through the morning, but intensify into the evening, especially south of Boston. The Boston area will see a steadier rain around 8 p.m. Locally stronger precipitation is possible, while it may be hit-or-miss in other places. You can see the NWS Boston radar simulation below for a timeline.
Forecasters are also calling for a very breezy day, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour through the afternoon.

After Friday, things will cool back down. Highs will still stay in the 40s, but lows will continue to be freezing for at least another week.
