More wintry weather is on the way for Southern New England, with snow and sleet turning into rain Sunday afternoon.

Snow totals are expected to be low, with the highest accumulation in the northwest part of the state at three to four inches. The Boston area is expected to get between one and two inches, while the Cape and islands will hardly have any accumulation at all.

After finally seeing some relief from a week of frigid temperatures, Saturday will be a slight relief, with highs reaching the lower 40s and sunshine throughout the day.
