Man Kicked, Choke Elderly Victim After Stealing His Phone: PD
The victim had been accused of taking a photo of a woman on the train, which he denied. Then this man allegedly took the phone and beat him.

BOSTON, MA — A Boston man has been arrested after allegedly beating an elderly man who was accused by a woman of taking inappropriate pictures of her on the train.
Transit Police responded to South Station around 1 p.m. Monday for a report of an assault. They found a victim slouched over in pain. The victim, a 66-year-old man, had a swollen right eye and cuts on his face.
The victim told police that he was on the inbound Red Line when a female accused him of taking her picture. He told her he did not, but an unknown man grabbed the elderly victim's phone and began leaving. The victim followed the man and demanded his phone back.

The man then beat, choked, and kicked the victim, transit police said. The victim said he believed others may have beat him at this time also.
A witness who had grabbed the phone from the floor during the assault gave it to an officer.

Following an investigation, police on Thursday arrested Tukan Manley, 31, on charges of assault and battery on an elderly person, strangulation, and malicious destruction of property.
