Man Shot, Killed At Boston Holiday Inn Express

BOSTON, MA – A man was shot and killed overnight at a Holiday Inn Express in Dorchester, reports say. He was found a little after 4 a.m. on the fifth floor of the Boston Street hotel by police responding to a report of a shooting. Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told reporters it appears the man was targeted.

Evans identified the man as being in his mid-20's.

Prior to officers' arrival at the hotel, someone had pulled the fire alarm, which caused a "hectic" scene, Evans told reporters.
