BOSTON — Bampumim Teixeira, the man convicted of murdering two doctors inside their South Boston penthouse, was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole. He was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and five other charges by a jury on Tuesday.
Dr. Richard Field and Dr. Lina Bolanos were stabbed to death inside their South Boston penthouse on May 5, 2017.
Texiera was not present at the sentencing and instead heard victim impact statements through a video conferencing system.
