Mass. Ave. Shooting Victim Dies
The Monday night shooting, believed by police to be gang-related, shut down the street for hours.

BOSTON, MA — A man shot in his car on Massachusetts Avenue Monday night has died, police said. Police responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 333 Massachusetts Ave. around 8:05 p.m. and found the victim sitting in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds. His car had crashed into a parked vehicle near the Huntington Ave. intersection.
The man, believed to be in his early 30s, was taken to the hospital, where he later died, according to police.
The driver was known to police, and the shooting was believed to be gang-related, The Boston Globe reported. Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a dark-colored SUV.
