MBTA Fare Vending Machines On The Fritz; No Cards Accepted
The MBTA said the system is currently down and won't accept credit or debit cards. Bring cash if you want a ride.
BOSTON, MA — If you don't have money on your Charlie Card, grab some cash. Fare vending machines at T stations are not accepting credit or debit cards this morning, the MBTA announced.
"Technicians are working to identify the problem and correct it as soon as possible," said MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo.
No word on whether that will take hours... or days.
