Minivan Gets Stuck On Steps Of Boston City Hall: Reports

A livery driver found his van stuck atop the steps to Boston City Hall after trying to make a U-turn.

BOSTON, MA — A Boston driver made the ultimate wrong turn Monday morning, and found himself stuck on the steps of Boston City Hall, numerous outlets report.

A gray Toyota minivan was found perched on the top step near the Congress Street side of City Hall at around 6:30 a.m. Monday, Boston police reported. Video from Sky7-HD showed the front wheels dangling over the steps.

The driver told 7News that he was bringing a woman to dialysis treatment, and made a wrong turn. He tried to make a U-turn, but the van’s front wheels got stuck on the steps.

A tow truck eventually removed the van, and no injuries were reported.
